OpenToolbox for Win32

To browse the package list, with descriptions, and an easy-to-navigate interface, use the XML frontend, located at ./index.xml

To browse the package list, without descriptions, and without tables, use the file tree, located at ./install/

Included here is a collection of Open-Source software, containing some of the best. This should have everything one needs to run a fully functional system, with the exception of the operating system itself. Nearly all of the software in this package is capable of running on *nix, but the versions contained here are for Windows.

2004-11-04: Added a few new packages (Graphics-2D/TileStudio, Graphics-2D/Allegro-Sprite-Editor).

2004-09-07: Created a new category (Sub-Packages), for things that require another application to be installed. Moved Assorted/EasyWinampControl into said category. Added new packages (Editor/biew, Programming/Mono, Programming/wxWidgets, Audio/Audacity, Documentation/xPDF, Internet/Client/Mahogany, Sub-Package/Gaim-Encryption)

2004-07-31: Converted the package list into XML, removed wlFxp and jFtp.

2004-07-17: Added a few more applications (Documentation/SciTE, Assorted/EasyWinampControl, Web_Applications/Plone)

2004-07-03: Added MikTeX, a Win32 implementation of TeX and Friends.

2004-06-29: Originally, the intent of this project was to contain as much quality Open Source Software as would fit on a single 700MB (80min) CD-R. With the recent additions, however... that is no longer possible. Content has now been segmented into packages designed for 2 CDs. Disc 1 (Blue) is everything not server-related. Disc 2 (Green) is everything server-related.
